Entertainment
Podcasts/Netcasts
My primary form of weekly entertainment is via audio podcasts. Depending on the audio quality I listen to them at 1.6X to 2X speed using Pocket Casts. While I get behind sometimes if I start listening to an audio book I usually get through all the episodes for the following each week. The priority is based totally on personnal preference and the amount of effort I go to to make sure I catch each show.
- My OPML file is available for import into your favorite podcatcher.

Books
I love to read print books and to listen to audiobooks. While not always up to date the best way to see what I have been reading is currently from my goodreads page
Video
My video watching time is limited and mostly consists of Technology, Anime, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, and Mysteries. I consume most of my content on a Roku with the remainder on my phone. I would love to have a tool like a podcatcher that allows me to subscribe to what I am interested it and have it queue up for watching but unfortunately it does not seem to exist.
My current network source for shows in prority order are:
- Crunchy Roll (ad free subscription)
- Hulu (ad free subscription)
- ITPro.tv (annual subscription)
- Amazon Prime
- ComicCon HQ
- YouTube
- CBS All Access
Value for Value
For those shows that I support based on the Value for Value model (V4V) I base my support on:
- Applicability to my interests
- Open License with extra value given to
- General enjoyment
- Audio Podcatcher and format friendly
- Duration (up to a point)
